Dos Command To Know Your Network

Below are the commands associated with the network. To perform these commands you must enter the MS DOS Prompt.

ipconfig / all
Displays the connection configuration information, such as Host Name, Primary DNS Type, Ethernet LAN Adapter.

ipconfig / displaydns
Displays the DNS cache.

ipconfig / flushdns
Removing DNS Cache

ipconfig / release
"Removing" all connections an IP Address.

ipconfig / renew
Create a new IP address for a particular adapter.

ipconfig / registerdns
Doing a refresh control and re-connection control registers.

ipconfig / showclassid
Displays information on DHCP Class.

ipconfig / setclassid
Change the DHCP Class ID

control netconnections
Displaying Network Connection.

ping
Example: ping http://hackerraz.blogspot.com/
Perform a test connection to the site http://hackerraz.blogspot.com/ . The less the% loss of his meal, the better the connection.

tracert
IP Address Displays route information.

netstat
Displays information TCP / IP connection is currently active.

route
Displays the local route.

hostnames
